Over time 583 has amassed an impressive production record.  We didn’t even realize how well she had been producing until her fifth natural calf sold as a wet two-year-old for $7,500 in our 2004 sale.  We had always recognized that her progeny were heavily-muscled, big-middled cattle, but when we got to studying them they also ratio well for the important measurements.  With 6 natural calves well above average for weaning, yearling, ribeye area, and IMF, 583 has done well consistently.  Her last calf that she raised as a 10-year-old ratioed as well as her first!  Productivity, longevity, attractive phenotype, what more could you want?
